This year we had a "home town" celebration. We went to the Washington City Parade and Festival. We had a great time at the parade, we had a great spot and found our friends the Twiss Family to party with. It was a little overcast, so surprisingly it wasn't to hot. The boys loved the festival, they really enjoyed all the games. They had a good 'ol fashioned fishing booth, the boys loved that! What is a celebration without foot races !? The boys were so FAST! Jordan was way out in front, and Parker was the fastest of those who started on time (he almost caught the kids that started early!) As we partied in Pioneer Park , I though of those amazing pioneers who gave so much and the wonderful example and legacy they left for all of us. I am sure their Pioneer Day Celebrations were close to the same - minus the Sno Cones!
Enjoy the Pictures !
